Poker Coaching for Tournament Players

MTT-specific coaching for serious tournament players ready to move up

Why tournament players need tournament-specific coaching

Cash game frameworks don't translate cleanly to MTTs. ICM dynamics, escalating blinds, pay jumps, stack-depth shifts, and the variance profile of large-field tournaments require a fundamentally different approach to study and decision-making.

A coach who plays primarily cash will give you good general poker advice. A coach who plays primarily tournaments will give you specific, format-correct advice.

What Thomas's tournament coaching covers

Thomas Boivin has played professional MTTs for 14+ years across Triton, EPT, WSOP, and high-stakes online series. The coaching reflects that: preflop ranges by stack depth, ICM and bubble factor work, 3-bet pots in tournament contexts, late-stage push-fold, PKO bounty adjustments, and live-specific exploits at major events.

Each Group Coaching module develops five related topics through recorded chapters, live Q&As, workshops, and personal drills.

Who this is built for

Serious MTT players: online grinders moving from mid stakes to high stakes, live tournament players preparing for major series, and pros who want a structured environment to fix specific leaks.

Not built for: complete beginners, micro-stakes recreational players, or anyone looking for shortcuts. The work is real, the standards are high, and the results follow.

How to start

Group Coaching is the main live technical entry point. Full Range is the performance and career community, currently paused while reopening updates are collected. 1-1 Elite is limited, application-only private work for established players.

All three are built around serious tournament play. The current coaching page explains the open Group Coaching path and application process.
